ARTIST BIO

My practice in oil paint is both a sensual and meditative experience, where I am able to experience both the real and imagined worlds. I studied visual arts at Uni S.A. followed by a postgraduate diploma in Arts at The Adelaide University I have always had a strong visual awareness that is intensified through colour. I find beauty and intrigue in nature where light continuously flirts and dances, transitioning shadow and form. The natural world is a never ending catalogue of inspiration and spiritual connection encouraging me to record what I see. I work in oil paint where I aim to achieve a sense of luminosity and depth of colour in the image highlighting this luxuriant medium.
